For the 2009-2010 school year, the Minnesota Shubert Center will offer two full, 10-class residencies to high schools in Greater Minnesota. Students will learn in-depth techniques and tools for developing their own creative work in music. The master composer will then take the students' creative works and combine them into one large masterwork to be premiered by the students themselves. Students will experience the professional life of a composer, will be able to respond and critique works, and will have an unforgettable creative experience.
The Composition Residency will be taught by Wynn-Anne Rossi. Please contact Jessi Kolodziej at 612-465-0220 or education@mnshubert.org to discuss implementing this program in your high school class.
